The Certification process is now mandatory and has been in all other states for several years. 

The inspection process is simple – follow these three easy steps to get you pool or spa inspected:

1. Prepare.  The ACT government will advise you of the age of your pool/spa/safety barrier.
   
   
2. Arrange a FREE phone consultation so you have a good understanding of the process and book in the Inspection.
   
   
3. The Inspector will attend your home and complete the inspection. The inspection generally takes less than an hour.   If your pool is compliant, you’ll receive your Certificate of Compliance within a day and the process is complete.

   
   On some occasions, if your pool doesn’t comply, we’ll provide you with a detailed report letting you know exactly what needs to be done. We can put you in contact with trusted professionals in the industry who will ensure the work is done properly and efficiently so that you can obtain the Certificate.  A further inspection will be required but there is no further cost.
